Our First Lady
Lady Priscella Walker
is a proud native of Norfolk, Virginia, and a product of the Norfolk Public School System, graduating from Matthew Fontaine Maury High
School. Wanting to stay close to her incredible family, she attended Norfolk State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from West Virginia University.
She enjoyed a wonderful career with the federal government for approximately 20 years as an Intelligence Research Specialist. She served diligently at the United States Customs Service, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and the Internal Revenue Service,
focusing on both domestic and foreign matters. She received numerous citations and awards during her tenure in federal service.
After much fasting and prayer, Lady Walker’s responsibilities and loyalties shifted to her immediate family. She embraced a new role by serving her amazing family and managing their home full-time, an experience she truly enjoyed. She could often be found volunteering
at Clinton Christian School (now Rock Creek Christian Academy) in Upper Marlboro, MD, where both of her children attended and graduated. Wherever there was a need, she could be counted on to serve with grace and excellence. She served with the Parent Teacher Fellowship, a group whose mission was to support the administrators, faculty, staff, and students through resource provision, communication, and fostering a positive school environment.
Additionally, the Lord placed First Lady Walker in the honorable position of caregiver to her phenomenal parents, Deacon Stephen M. Harris and Sister Annie C. Harris. Lady Walker cherished priceless moments with them and holds those memories dear to her heart. This divine assignment was never a burden, instead a joy. Now,
they both rest in heaven.
Currently, Lady Walker is employed with Arlington Public Schools at the Arlington Career Center in Arlington, Virginia. She truly enjoys working in the Teen Parenting Program, where she serves as the Lead
Educator in the Infant Center. There, she provides guidance, support, and advice to high school parents while teaching their infants. Her teaching fosters the children’s natural curiosity and development through interaction, play, and sensory experiences. Many of the students she serves come from countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic to name a few. In addition, Lady Walker mentors several Early Childhood Education high school students throughout the year as they complete their fieldwork in the Infant Center.
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin."
I John 1:7

Lady Walker is deeply passionate about the development and spiritual growth of women in the Body of Christ. She previously served as the Director of the Women’s Ministry at Destiny Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV, where she coordinated numerous conferences, retreats, and fellowships. She has also served as a role model,
confidant, and spiritual mentor, building lasting relationships founded on genuine bonds and trust in God.
Her heart also beats for the spiritual and social nourishment of children, God’s greatest resource to humankind. At her current church, The New Macedonia Baptist Church in Washington, DC, she serves in the AWANA Clubs (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed), a Bible-based, Christ-centered youth ministry. For the past 16 years, she has also faithfully served as a facilitator in the GROWTH Ministry, which supports those walking through grief and loss.
Additionally, Lady Walker serves in the Hospitality Ministry, Vacation Bible School, and as a Special Coordinator for various community events hosted by her Pastor. She is married to an incredible man of God, Pastor Patrick J. Walker. Together, they are blessed with two amazing adult children, Maya Bethany and Patrick Jonnathan II, who continue to value connection, guidance, encouragement, and love from their parents.
Lady Walker is a woman of grace, humility, and refined strength.
One of her favorite Bible verses is: “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.” — 1 John 1:7
