Robert L. Walls Senior Citizens Center (RLWSCC)
is a ministry partner of The New Macedonia Baptist Church. Established in 1991, under the visionary leadership of the church's late pastor, Reverend Dr. Robert L. Walls, Sr., the Center is managed by a Board of Directors appointed by church leadership.
RLWSCC is an independent living facility located in the southeast quadrant of the Nation's capital and offers affordable, comfortable living quarters in a quiet, caring environment. The forty-eight unit building has efficiency, one-bedroom, one-bedroom w/laundry apartments and, 24-hour controlled entry. on duty every day of the year.
Robert L. Walls Senior Citizens Center partners with the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) to provide affordable housing to the city's senior citizens. The RLWSCC participates in the Housing Choice Voucher Moderate Rehabilitation - Project Based Vouchers (formerly known as the Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program), which is administered by the DCHA with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Seniors, deemed eligible to participate in the program, receive assistance based on their monthly income.

LOCATION
The Robert L. Walls Senior Citizens Center is conveniently located at 4339 Bowen Road, SE Washington, DC 20019. We are easily accessible via Metro's Red Line, Benning Road Station. Bus lines F14, J13 and W4 will bring you just steps from our door.
The Robert L. Walls Senior Citizens Center offers a wide array of amenities to ensure that our apartment homes are comfortable, safe and secure. There are efficiency, one bedroom and one bedroom with laundry residential units available with individual heating and air conditioning temperature settings. RLWSCC is a controlled access facility, with 24 hour surveillance and security personnel. Our tenants are able to relax, fellowship and entertain in the Activities Room, enjoy our vending area and utilize the complimentary laundry facilities. The RLWSCC has well landscaped grounds including a reserved off street parking lot. The on-site management and facility maintenance staff ensure that the property is well maintained and maintenance problems are addressed immediately.
FEATURES
Each apartment home boasts a large picture window with mini blinds and is cable ready. The kitchenette offers an energy efficient refrigerator, a garbage disposal, and generous cabinets. The living area has ample closet space, a heating/air conditioning unit and wall to wall carpeting. The bathroom has ceramic floor tiles, full tub/shower combination with grab bars. Select one bedroom floor plans have a stackable washer/dryer.
