 Minister Isaiah D. Thomas

Isaiah D. ThomasUnder the leadership of our Minister of Worship, Minister Isaiah D. Thomas, our Worship Ministry exists to accomplish our church's ministry purpose of worship, that is, to magnify God's name, indvidually and corporately. This ministry team enhances and enriches the ministry of worship in the life and mission of the people in this local body of believers.  The Worship Ministry is comprised of the ACT5! Drama Ministry, Comforters of Christ, Consolation Choir, Dance Ministry, Faithful Gospel Choral Ensemble, Hallelujah Chorus, Male Chorus, Mass Choir and Praise Team.  All Worship Ministry teams set the atmosphere in a way that enriches the worship experience for individual church members and visitors and the congregation as a whole.

At the young age of 10, Isaiah D. Thomas began to embark upon what is now a successful career in the music ministry. Minister Thomas became the Minister of Music of the Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church at the ripe age of 19 under the pastoral leadership of Pastors Daniel and Sabrina Mangrum.  In 1993, he recorded and released his first project with the Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church Mass Choir entitled, "Pray Everything Will Be Alright," with the hit song, "High in All the Earth."  In 1998, a second project was released entitled, "It's Time to Praise the Lord" which was also a major hit.  This album included major hits such as "It's Time to Praise the Lord," "Great Jehovah God," "Jesus Can Work It Out," and "Be Transformed."

A successful and well traveled workshop leader, with over 15 years of experience, Isaiah is highly regarded as a songwriter, producer, and vocalist in the gospel music industry.  His work can be heard either as a writer or producer on several projects, including:  Stellar Award-Nominees Bishop Michael V. Kelsey and The New Samaritan Mass Choir (I'll Sing To You and Masterpeace); Grammy-Award Winner Gladys Knight (Many Roads); Earl Muschette & Nu Mobb (Long Time Coming); Isaiah Thomas & Elements of Praise (Live in DC); Daniel T.
