The Benevolence Team exist to glorify Jesus Christ by demonstrating Christ’s love in a visible manner with members and neighbors requiring assistance. All financial requests are reviewed by a governing board and decisions are made on an individual basis.
Our Foreign Missions Team is responsible for developing and implementing programs for relief of the sick, hungry, poor, and homeless abroad. This team also partners with other nonprofit organizations and churches in their foreign missions efforts.
This team ensures church members, who are convalescing either at home or in the hospital, receive words of encouragement and acts of kindness.
The Home Missions Team serves our surrounding community, metropolitan area, and nation through charitable means and acts of love while directing others toward their need for Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Our Witnessing Team works faithfully to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ in our immediate neighborhood - our “Jerusalem.” Team members are trained to memorize scriptures related to man’s sinful state, the work of Christ on the Cross, God’s love, and the plan of salvation. The team canvases the area, door-to-door, on a monthly basis to share our church’s ministry events and the gospel story to our neighboring communities.
The Concierge Team is responsible for maintaining a friendly, inviting, and professional atmosphere while answering questions, registering guests, and serving members and visitors.
The Hands of Glory Ministry provides support and service to the Senior Pastor, members, ministers and ministries of The New Macedonia Baptist church family. They assist with registrations, as required, and special recognitions for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and other occasions.
The Hospitality Ministry warmly welcomes members and visiting guests to the church during weekly services and often serves as hosts and hostesses for various church activities.
The Nurses Ministry provides comfort and support to pulpit staff, members, and neighbors during regular worship services, funerals and special events. Nurses are available to initiate first aid care and respond to medical emergencies until appropriate medical personnel arrives. Additionally, the ministry hosts Health & Wellness sessions to perform health screenings and disseminate useful information on various health issues affecting our community.
The Pastor’s Aide Ministry lovingly serves the Senior Pastor and First Family through prayers, encouraging words, and other acts of kindness and support. They honor the First Family’s birthdays and anniversaries.
The Transportation Ministry provides transportation to worship services, evangelism efforts, and, special engagements.
The #2 Ushers, Senior Ushers, and Youth and Young Adult Ushers serves as hosts of our church by welcoming members and visitors, believers and seekers who gather for worship. Their goal is to serve with perfection, humility, dignity, and grace, as they strive for excellence.
The Security Ministry is responsible for ensuring members and visitors to our church have a sense of safety when arriving and departing the properties. They assist with parking, while helping our seniors and physically challenged members and visitors gain access to the church property during worship services.
The Culinary Serving Team ensures repasts, fellowships, and other social events are professionally staffed and decorated. They serve bereaved families, members, visitors, and special guests.
