Benevolence Team
The Benevolence Team exists to glorify Jesus Christ, by sharing Christ's love in a material way with those in need - members of New Macedonia, as well as non-members. All financial requests are reviewed by a governing board and assistance decisions are made on a case by case basis. The Benevolence Team responds immediately to phone inquiries and other requests for financial assistance to aid in payment of rent, utility bills, groceries and the like, for those who have a verifiable need.
Bereavement Team
The Bereavement Team ministers to members of our church and their families by providing meals, flowers, cards and other expressions of compassion during times of bereavement. We support members and remind them that there is still hope by helping those who are suffering sickness and disease or grieving the death of a loved one.
Home and Hospital Visitation
The Home and Hospital Visitation Team ensures that our church members who are convalescing either at home or in the hospital, receive words of encouragement and acts of kindness on behalf of the church leadership. We provide spiritual, emotional and domestic support to all who are in need and facilitate Christian love through comfort, care and services to our church families as they move victoriously through seasons of illness.
Home Missions
Our Home Missions Team serves our surrounding community, state and country through charitable means and acts of love that point others to total recognition of their need for Jesus Christ, our Lord. We are responsible for developing and implementing programs for relief of the sick, hungry, poor and homeless in our local community as well as other areas of the country. We also partner with other nonprofit organizations and churches in their home missions efforts.
Witnessing Team
The Witnessing Team educates, equips and encourages believers who attend The New Macedonia Baptist Church in their development to provide personal evangelism to those who do not know Jesus Christ. We also reach out to non-believers for the purpose bringing them to a saving knowledge of Christ, through door-to-door visits, participation in public events and involvement in other evangelistic opportunities."
